100% of your donation will directly support the construction of a permanent monument at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. This monument will stand as a powerful and enduring tribute to the courage, professionalism, and esprit de corps of the Marine Corps Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) community.
For decades, Marine Corps EOD Technicians have faced extraordinary danger in service to our nation. This monument will ensure that their sacrifice, dedication, and legacy are permanently recognized—honoring those who served before us, those serving today, and those who will carry the mission forward.
Every dollar donated goes directly toward bringing this monument to life.

Thank you to Captain Carl Jozitas (retired) for providing the hand drawn Buzzard, Bomb, and Pick that will be utilized to produce the bronze cast of the "Ol Buzzard". Carl has been the artist behind the Buzzard since Vietnam, and who made it his mission to present USMC EOD Techs medevaced during OIF/OEF with their very own Buzzard.

The Association of MCEOD has secured site 52 at Semper Fidelis Memorial Park adjacent to the National Museum of the Marine Corps. The selected site provides an elevated position that will provide views of the entire monument while the traversing the walking path. This site will also enable the construction of a wall that will double as a bench and display the Basic, Senior, and Master EOD Badges.
