100% of your donation will directly support the construction of a permanent monument at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. This monument will stand as a powerful and enduring tribute to the courage, professionalism, and esprit de corps of the Marine Corps Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) community.
For decades, Marine Corps EOD Technicians have faced extraordinary danger in service to our nation. This monument will ensure that their sacrifice, dedication, and legacy are permanently recognized—honoring those who served before us, those serving today, and those who will carry the mission forward.
Every dollar donated goes directly toward bringing this monument to life.

Thank you to Captain Carl Jozaitis (retired) for providing the hand drawn Buzzard, Bomb, and Pick that will be utilized to produce the bronze cast of the "Ol Buzzard". Carl has been the artist behind the Buzzard since Vietnam, and who made it his mission to present USMC EOD Techs medevaced during OIF/OEF with their very own Buzzard.

Thank you to GySgt Timothy Colomer (retired) for the hand drawn reverse etched bomb suite, recognized around the world, which will provide the visual representation of the USMC EOD community.
The written history of EOD as displayed in the Pentagon will be featured on the front of the monument.

Your AMCEOD has been working with the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation (MCHF) to procure engraved bricks to surround the USMC EOD Monument in Semper Fidelis Memorial Park. A personalized brick can be purchased for $500.00. This will be inlayed at the monument. Please see the Monument Brick section below for details.
Bronze Donors will be recognized on a Donor Plaque that will be permanently placed at the monument site.
Silver Donors will be recognized on a Donor Plaque at that will be permanently placed at the monument site.
Gold Donors will be recognized on a Donor Plaque that will be permanently placed at the monument site.
The Association of Marine Corps EOD is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Your donation is tax deductible.

This is an all-volunteer organization. Any funds raised in excess of the amount needed for the monument will be used for its ongoing maintenance, related commemorative efforts, or other mission-aligned purposes. Once we have achieved the financial requirement for the monument, we will cease fundraising efforts for this initiative.

The Association of MCEOD has secured site 52 at Semper Fidelis Memorial Park adjacent to the National Museum of the Marine Corps. The selected site provides an elevated position that will provide views of the entire monument while the traversing the walking path. This site will also enable the construction of a wall that will double as a bench and display the Basic, Senior, and Master EOD Badges.
